Big Ideas Math® Activity Builder

The Activity Builder is the one stop shop for teachers and school administrators to view, create, modify, and assign customized activities for students. The Activity Builder is broken up into three sections. The Activity Preview, Item Bank, and Filters. The Activity Preview on the left shows the activity as the teacher is assembling it. A teacher uses the filters on the right to locate the program, chapter, and section they are currently working on with their students. This will populate the item bank in the center with items associated with filter parameters. The parity filter will populate with either even or odd item.

Assign To modal with class, student, and activity options. Teachers can assign to students in one or multiple classes. Different assignment details can be set for each group. This includes the assignment title, assignment window, submission options, tools and help options as well as the assignment message. Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile views displayed.

Users visiting for the first time are greeted with an onboarding experience that is designed to give the user a guided introduction to the product, set up some initial preferences, and point out critical UI elements in the Activity Builder interface.
